Across the Nation in 2024, 39,345 people were killed on our public ways in motor vehicle crashes, compared to 19,252 homicides/manslaughters during the same time period. Yet, we still find crash investigators receiving less training; why? This 80-hour course will provide police officers with the knowledge and skills to conduct an initial assessment of every crash they encounter. Valuable evidence can be lost forever if not properly collected, recorded, and preserved after a crash. Instructors will teach these techniques, as well as formulas, photography, measuring, and so much more.
